cannot use variable to open directory

Software Version:3.8.4 pro

Hi, I want to open directory in my laptop. I can open and read file list normally if I write the exact location of the directory manually, but if I use variable to show the same exact location, it shows error like this "the path is not of a legal form". Please fix

Hi, onlygrace! I have checked that and I didn't get this error, it works. You can show the value of variable before do the "Directory Process" and check if the path is of a legal form.
